My orchid went downhill after I repotted to a larger pot (roots were bound)! But I just noticed these small lil bugs on it. It’s planted in sphagnum moss. If anyone knows, please help!

It’s possibly spider mites from the fine webs.

Do they tend to be super small yellow bugs?

Isolate it and check the other plants. They spread fast.

Looks like spider mites to me. I would spray with water. Use a stream that is strong enough to dislodge the buggies but not so rough as to damage the plant. Make sure you soak up any water that collects in the crown or base of leaves. Quarantine it from other plants. Since it appears you noticed it early on, I wouldn’t treat with any insecticide yet. Increase your humidity and watch it for a couple of days. And check the rest of your collection thoroughly. If they show back up, spray with water to remove the majority and then treat with insecticide.

My parlor palm tree has them too 😢😢 seems worse on this one. Any advice for getting rid of a bunch?

I would give them a good washing and then invest in a good insecticide. Stay on top of the treatments. As sunny said, they spread.

I have found Neem Oil to be very effective when dealing with spider mites.

Spider mites!!! Treat immediately with soapy water to remove all signs of webbing and pests. If you can get some, treat with abamectin and a pesticide like Captain Jack’s Dead Bug Brew. The one-two punch treatment is for killing adults AND eggs. I’ve not had luck with neem oil although some people swear by it. Treat weekly until all signs of infection is gone and yes, definitely keep it away from other plants where the mites can easily spread.
