Aw man. Is there rot there or did the leaves get sort of snapped off?

Definitely rot. I was watering more frequently to help her adjust to the drier soil, but maybe i over did it. I just picked her up to move her closer to the grow light for the day and the leaves just fell right off 😭 upon further inspection, i definitely see root rot. But no crown rot, so I don’t know why those leaves popped off. I’ll investigate the roots more closely after work, but DANG. I thought I had it this time.
0 Me gustaBased on your previous pictures and descriptions of what was going on, it sounds like you had some root rot that traveled up into the stem of the plant. You did everything you could, it sounds like it was just fighting a bad bacterial infection. I wish you had caught it in time. Bummer.

If there are healthy looking roots, do you think it’s salvageable? Or is it a lost cause at this point?
0 Me gustaIt can’t hurt to try, but if the stem is fully rotted, your chances are extremely slim.
