Okay orchid lovers. I know phals are our pals but what other types of orchids are you in to? The photo is my Brassolaelia Richard Mueller x Cattleya Triumphans.

    I am a HUGE Cattleya fan. I find they have such an interesting growth pattern, and love watching their new pseudo bulbs take shape. I only have 3 oncidiums, but I think those are really cool too- and of COURSE, slipper orchids are amazing, but mine are giving me such a hard time right now- problem children!

    I am a sucker for the oncidiums. The blooms are lovely but I find the plants endlessly fascinating.

    I hardly know anything about orchid types, but my favorite plant store really temps me with their unusual orchids. They’re pricy but I want at least one! I’m just not confident with orchids yet though. This one I think is my favorite. The flowers are so tiny!!

    That flower is gorgeous!! I’d love to try all of the orchids myself the cactus one or the Philippines one! I’m still a beginner and I’m too scared to try the harder to nurture types 🫣

    Don’t let the fear stop you. If you do your research before buying, it is so much easier. And take it slowly. Get one. Once you figure out what it wants, try another of the same type. As you gain more experience, branch out. Good luck and have fun!
