My aunt gave me her orchid thats in bad condition. any advice? She kept it in a shady area and never really watered it. there was a flower but it had fallen off. edit, i forgot to mention i repotted it as well, when i got it for some reason it wasnt even in the soil and the previous soil was moldy.

I’m not sure I see a problem based on the photos. The mother plant looks to be in reasonable shape, smooth firm leaves, healthy aerial roots. Orchids don’t flower forever so that’s not a problem either. And you have a keiki which it pretty cool. When you repotted, how were the roots? And what kind of media did you use? Potting soil is too dense and will quickly drown an orchid. Bark and/or sphagnum is more typical. The keiki is plenty big enough to survive on its own. I would clip the inflorescence close to the keiki and pot it up. I would also clip both inflorescences back to the base of the mother plant to allow it to rest and gather it’s strength for another bloom show. Good luck!
