My poor orchids. Are these beyond saving?

    It doesn’t look like it’s beyond saving! When they drop all their flowers that’s usually a good time to repot if needed. I usually trim the stems off and make sure to not let the soil dry out so much between waterings, a lil fertilizer/nutrients will help give them a boost too. Also looking at the roots will tell you big time if these plants can be saved and also when you need to water, green and firm you’re good! Anything mushy/brown needs to be trimmed off; orchids love lots of air flow in their pots!! Looking at your orchids I think giving your orchids more room to breath and watering more often or less often will help, I hope this helps!

    Yes, definitely cut the flower spikes, and repot. If roots are mushy or papery, they are dead, cut them off. The leaves just seem wrinkly from dehydration.

    I agreed with Makenna and Jen. I will add that since your plants are in sphagnum, I am concerned the roots may not be in great shape (manifesting as wrinkled leaves). Luckily phals are tough. Good luck.
