Any tips for removing these two babies from the base of this vanda? I have some hanging plastic baskets on the way, the plan was to cut the original plastic one off to access the base, and repot all three of them.

    I have no experience with vandas but have an uneducated guess. I would treat like a typical keiki and wait to detach from the mother after it has at least 2” of root growth and at least that much if not more in leaf growth. You might try checking out Miss Orchid Girl on YouTube. I know she has some videos on dendrobium and phalanopsis keikis but not sure about vanda. Good luck! And by the way, brilliant handle.
