Help! This is so embarrassing! Ive had this orchid for 3 years and each year it has come back after a stem cut. Well currently, my blooms have been solid(I’ve had 3 other beautiful blooms that have fallen already and now these current 2) but the leaves look HORRIBLE. Any advice? :/ one lead fell off the other day because it was so bad. I recently repotted it:/

    I’m not an expert but looks like maybe not enough water? Potting mix looks very dry, and the yellow leaf getting kinda shrunken/wrinkled could be that it’s drying out. Maybe just needs a more frequent watering schedule after the repot.

    Okay… so yellowing leaves and leaf drop on older orchids is normal. Don’t stress too much about it, that recently happened with mine too. I would be more concerned if it was a younger orchid, but it’s not. I don’t know the exact reason why it happens, but it’s supposed to happen with older orchid leaves. I watch this one YouTuber, MissOrchidGirl - and she talked about it in one of her videos

      The yellow leaf will fall off when it’s ready, don’t try to cut it off, or pull it off, it will allow a gap for bad stuff to get inside this opening, causing your plant future problems.. learned from someone on this app - now I’m paying it forward

    Had one that looked the same and I just watered it once a week and gave it orchid fertilizer every few watering and it came back to life.

    You may be in need of a repot. Then you can check the roots and see why you’re getting some dehydration.
