Does anyone know why my orchid hasn’t bloomed for a year? It’s sprouting new leaves and roots, it’s just not blooming.

    If the plant is healthy, and new leaves and roots are a good sign it is, then it’s probably not getting enough light.

    Orchids also often need a cold spell for a period of time like chilly nights in order to push blooms again.

    Make sure you cut the old bloom stem off too!
