My mom is an orchid master and can get hers to bloom multiple times in a 6 month period. She waters them with about a tablespoon of water every few days, leaves them in a windowsill that gets bright indirect light, and cuts off the dead flowering stems once they’ve dried up. All of her orchids are extremely happy and bloom multiple times every year

this will only work with certain climates. i live in USDA zone 7b and mine can only flower 2x-3x a year… they key to getting phalaenopsis orchids to flower is having the night temperature be 10-15° cooler than the day, but no colder than 50° F. this will induce spiking and flowering, but there is no way to make your spike grow quicker or your blooms to open faster. only fertilise once or twice a year because orchids are prone to fertiliser burn since their roots are so thick and tuberous
