I have a moth orchid (grocery store gift) in my bathroom and it’s in a corner about 3 feet from a window. So it gets some indirect light but not much. Should I use a grow light or is this light sufficient? If I should use a grow light, I would welcome recommendations for orchids.
I have seen a video that says that orchids want to be able to see the sky, but not have the sun directly on them. I think it was Tanner the Planter. 3 feet might be a little far, but maybe not. I have on my covered porch directly against the house and it’s doing well. For grow lights, I like the Sansi clip on lights from Amazon. I have been told that usb powered is never strong enough, so look for the ones with plugs.
0件のいいねThank you! I assume the grow light needs to be above the flowering bit, not just over the leaves? The flower stalk on mine is really tall (3+ feet).
