Looking for opinions:) Iām so excited I have my first flower spike! Itās growing towards the windowā¦ ***Should I turn the pot around so the flower spike has more room to grow away from the window? ***Or will that stun/shock the plant and stop the flower spike from growing?
You can turn the plant. Shouldnāt cause a problem. If the spike turns back toward the window, you can stake to gently encourage the direction you want it to go

1 gillaMine, even when turned, keep turning towards the window until the flowers actually start to open. So I wait till then to turn my orchids so I get the pretty view instead of the outside world. As MeasomerPi said, you definitely can stake it if you have concerns about it touching the window, or want a more upright esthetic :)

1 gillaAll that staking talk, be very very careful. Those buggers snap very easily. I myself prefer the natural look, but if you want upright, start now slowly and gently.
