Sometimes in life, you have to start over, but you may need a little help to get there. My little orchid friend here lost all his roots (oops, my bad) and finally has some new ones budding. I'm letting him get a nice long drink before I put him back in a dome for humidity. With a little love and time, he should recover. (This is also the best bargain orchid I've ever found. Mottled leaves and he was only $3 in a clearance shelf)

    Orchids are an excellent patience teaching tool. Good reminders too that- it ain’t over ‘til it’s over. I’d love to see its progress over the next few months. It’s always so encouraging.

    Very kind of you to rescue the poor thing. I’m sure your new friend will reward you with beautiful flowers. I didn’t know that they can have mottled leaves.
