What do I do, it doesn’t look like it’s making new flowers??

    I would just give it time and see what happens. I had a flower spike die recently

    But now a new and even better one is replacing it almost right away

    Looks like a new plantlet 😬😬 I’d just leave it until its more established, then if you want you can remove it and have a whole new plant!

    GreenLeaf is correct- your orchid is growing a keiki. That is a baby orchid, a genetic clone to your mother plant. Continue to treat your orchid as you’ve been- you may notice it needing a bit more frequent waterings. When the keiki grows 3 or more roots of its own (I’d wait until they are about 2 inches long at least,) you can remove it from the flower spike and pot it on its own. Congrats!
