    What kind of moss, and what global region are you located in?

      Something compact and easy to grow in small terrariums. I live in the PNW. I may be able to harvest my own somewhere. I’m still new to terrariums

      You totally could try harvesting your own, but you have to make sure to clean it REALLY well before you put it in a terrarium! If you harvest a really small amount, clean it well, and then propagate it under grow lights at home, you can have a responsible, free source of local moss. That said, I've found growing local moss indoors isn't as easy as I thought it'd be 😬 I'm in the Mid-Atlantic, so not as mossy as the PNW, but still. Anyway-- for an online retailer, glass box tropicals has been an absolute mvp for me, and they carry great moss.
