Hi, so I’m really new here… kinda just wondering if people have any advice for where to get plants for my terrariums? I’ve made little moss ones (that’s how I got interested in terrariums) by just gathering it around town… but I don’t know how many good terrarium plants I’ll find like that. Any advice?
Depends on which types of plants you want. If you want to do tropicals or succulents, they're readily available at most garden centers in summer. If you want things that are specific and harder to find, you can check online for plant trading groups or specialist webstores

I got a couple blue oil ferns from glass box tropicals and they came in good shape and were pretty reasonably-priced.

For terrariums I highly recommend Pellionia pulchra. My mom made lots of pp terrariums and they always thrive. She made me one 12 years ago that I still have (pictured)! If you don’t have local shops, there’s lots of good online plant shopping. I get plants from Etsy & Mercari. I prefer sellers that sell you the exact plant listed.
