Hi. I just learnt that u can use terrariums and was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to set one up. I have cats and they keep pulling my sprouts out and killing them. Looking for ways to have plants and not have them die via kitties.
I am just starting out with them. I used small glass bottles from the dollar store. I used perlite and cactus soil put in a few plants watered it put the cork on and let them grow
I got my start by signing up for a terrarium making class at a local plant shop! We used leca for the bottom layer, then charcoal, then the soil. We added isopods and springtails as well. It’s a fun new hobby!
