I keep getting mold in my terrarium, just using a glass and adding soil, sphagnum moss and chunky perlite. How can I make it more efficient?

    You need a lid to keep a bug named springtails in. They eat mold.

      You need to get some springtails to put in there.

    A small springtail colony will control your mold.

    You can probably find them online, the only time I ever bought springtails was at my local reptile expo, so I'm not an expert lol

    Try googling Terrarium Tribe. They have springtails and isopods along with other terrarium stuff. I bought some springtails, soil, and moss from them for my terrarium and didn’t have any issues.

    I just bought some: in my local pet shop :) if it’s a fairly big shop that has also fishes, reptiles etc they might have them. Otherwise online

    Pet smart has them. Also, for some reason, when I added moss, it fixed my mold problem. Idk, might be worth a shot
