My first one. Yay, nay? I just know these dont live without a terrarium especially in this climate. I think fittonias are rly pretty and haven't tried in many years. I originally used perlite as the drain layer but I messed up and ended up just mixing it all. Id like to add moss but I dont have any. 😔

So cute! Love fittonias! I’m assuming it is a closed setup. Be careful with your watering without a drainage layer. A surprising source for moss is on Amazon. I have tried the flat three pack variety and it did surprisingly well. Whatever I didn’t use I put in a Tupperware container under a grow light. I am going to purchase the cushion variety next time.
