I’m finally doing it! I’m building my big terrarium this week. Supplies are ordered and some have already arrived. All this because I wanted a Verrucosum. 🤣 Any advice welcome from those who’ve built a “living wall” in a terrarium. I’ll be using expanding foam to attach cork bark to the back wall, with coco coir & sphagnum moss to fill in the gaps.

좋아요 1개I recommend sterilizing your sphagnum (pour boiling water into it, let it cool before using); I've had problems with my sphagnum molding. Be sure to do a drainage layer. Lots of people highly recommend springtails for mold prevention. And on a more fun note: live mosses, lichens, and micro orchids can all do well as companion plants. Fittonias and ferns also love terrarium life
