What should I do after the flower dies off?
So excited to see what this does!!! I just moved it under a grow light to get ready for winter. I hope it likes it there.
This raggedy crew is still cranking along. See old One Face? Thatās what happens when you panic and pick at the plant to remove dead skinā¦except it wasnāt dead :( Onward.
My lithop is blooming so quickly! Itās amazing, yesterday it had suddenly appeared looking like a pumpkin seed had been stuck inside of it and now itās popping out :3
Iām confused! LOL So do I basically just ignore the Planta schedule for watering lithops?? How about the split rocks?
Hi all!! My Lithops are THRIVING and are flowering. Can anyone tell me what to do after they flower? Do I need to remove the flower or just let it do itās thing?
I got these lithops awhile ago. I had 20 at first but half of them died. Itās been awhile now and none of them have died, but they are looking a little sad. Do they look sick? Should I repot them?
The current landscape of Lithops over here in North Utah. Per a previous post, I also want to show the shallow pot versus the rest. The little red one throws me off, a lot, because it changes shape/state (wrinkles) more often than the rest. The green pot however excelled during the entire year without any extra attention. Bad Brainz is still too young to flower, but all five have looked immaculate all year. Iām not making any claims other than what Iāve experienced. As much as Iām selling that deep, green pot, itās still a dumb glazed ceramic āEdible Arrangementsā (holes drilled in the bottom). I do believe there is a lot of fine sand and aquarium rocks mixed in the soil, which should be wrong.
Heyo! Iām planning on reporting my lithops into one big shallow pot and I wna know if itāll be okay (I have 4 lithops) :3
I think my lithops is about to flowerā¦right?? I got her back in spring, so Iām relatively new at caring for this type of plant. Seems like sheās happy though!
i have six little lithops, three of which i'm concerned about because they don't appear healthy (the three on the right). the fourth one is wrinkly and the fifth and sixth haven't made any visible progress since i got them (one month ago). does anyone have any suggestions?
I think that my plants are going to die of root rot soon. Do they look sick to you and do you have any suggestions about what to do if it does have root rot.
I need help with what soil I should use for my Lithopsš I also have a pot with no drainage hole and I dunno if I should repot it to one with drainage holesš¤Æ
I bought a lithops last year with a dead root ball. After a year of trying to see if itāll grow new roots I have decided to try and cut the dead root ball all the way to the base and water it in soil. Though Iām also wondering if it would be worth doing water therapy. Anyone have any tricks? Thank you! Iām not sure the soil will retain the moisture it needs to grow roots. They also havenāt split since I got it last august. Thanks!
Question⦠does the top of the Lithops look flat because itās thirsty? Iāve only watered the flat ones so far like this one š
Hi guys I adopted a lil group today to go with my big lonely lithops. Well I was replanting them because the farmers market had totally drowned their soil today and I had an awkward feeling that was not in their best interest. During repotting I realized my container is too shallow and my lithops are really sticking out of the soil. Is that wrong? I never see any others potted like that.
Happy Saturday š this is my first stone. Iāve had it for a couple of months not sure if it needs to be re-potted?
This is my newest plant addition. Looks taller than most pictures in the group. Not sure if thatās good or bad. I hope Iām able to keep it happy!
This was a lot of work to pot them all up! Lol The odd shaped one is called a Karoo Rose š *I bought them on Etsy from Konger in GA
