Been saving up to get these little guys as a treat for finishing my exams- Any and all advise for things to buy and how to look after them is so welcome as I’m very new to them and have no plant friends who own them either!! 🌱🌱

    When you get the urge to water them, resist lol They’re actually really low maintenance if you just wait for them ti tell you what they need. They’ll go dormant for periods of time, and will need zero attention :) Signs I use to know to water: - soil is 100% dry (this is an absolute must. Do not water them if the soil isn’t bone dry) - they’re slightly squishy when gently squeezed - they’re starting to sink into the soil - they look slightly wrinkled I only water if ALL of the above are present. Then I’ll give them a good bottom watering, and let all the water drain out. You don’t want to water when they’re splitting. They’re absorbing all the moisture from the old ones. They like maximum light. South or west windows. They will not do well in low light settings. They need EXTREMELY well draining soil. Do not use anything that retains a lot of moisture.
