      Well it didn’t like gritty mix! I had to put it in a shot glass to get the roots to grow and then I used seed starting mix once I saw roots. It’s been directly under a grow light too.

      Yes! Sorry I didn’t see this sooner! So I take a shotglass of water and put plastic wrap over it and position the roots through a hole I make with a toothpick, so that it doesn’t touch the water so it will reach for the water 💦 then I leave it in there for weeks but give more clean water once in awhile

    Secrets on keeping it plump, please. Mine is doing well except for the bottom wrinkles. I know they like a *little* more moisture than some in this weird family.

      Like, I get that it feeds from the bottom leaves, but everyone tells me “it needs a drink.” I bottom watered it and let it super soak a few times.

    I do remember that I was giving all my cacti a good seaweed bath 🛁 so it might have liked it

      Mind blown. I recall a video of someone growing the standard "ice plant" Delosperma in a vase of water. That is when I got really curious and asked people who run tours in S Africa "would it make sense to mist this?" And then I get a pic of them growing near a coast. Then... I know too much but not enough. Thanks for sharing tips!
