Now I don’t water it until spring right? Ahh I’ve had a couple of these and I’d like to keep this one.

    Yes! No watering until the old leaves are dry like a papyrus. That will happen around mid to late spring. It’s annoying because sometimes you have a bunch of them at different maturity stages in the same pot, and some need water and some others don’t. But the best option is always not to water. More chances to survive for the majority.

      Oh that makes so much sense why my others died! I planted a bunch together in a wide pot and some died while some held on, but then they all eventually died.
