These are my first lithops! I’d seen them on Etsy as “plant buddies” and I honestly didn’t even know they were real 😅 Hubbie got me a surprise grab bag from our local shop and this was one of the plants! I’m officially obsessed, I want more!

Oh good point. I don’t know what lithops prefer in the potting density department

Dave_opuntiafaceI haven’t once heard any big or little growers of Lithops worry about overcrowding a pot - but the size of them doesn’t seem to be any plant badge of honor (everyone is concerned with color and justifiably chatty about watering). These three in my pic are quite fat, and I’m wondering if they go up in size this winter. I just noticed the little sneaky fifth one in your pot. Love it. Because of him, I (personally) would pull them out and gently untangle the roots to create some space so that younger one can grow - or even just move that one to its own pot. It’s a few years younger than the rest. Alternately, leave them alone until the roots pop out the bottom :)

Better pic. They are cozy with a little room to stretch. Not much space needed.
