I was able to resist all of these (so expensive at boutiques), but had to share. The big one made me blurt “oh wow!” in the middle of strangers.

    Oh wow from me too! I’ve only spotted them once in person so far, but they were sad and overwatered looking enough for me to resist. Some day!

      I’m going on record with saying this shop has no clue what to do with these - or a bunch of the sucs. They make their money on the catering and huge plants for big homes. I was going to grab at least one, but they are seriously waterlogged. I found a pic of day one with Lithops in my life (it took a few months before I realized these two species were not going to make it on the same schedule).

      Ah, yeah that makes sense. I hate looking through a shop and finding waterlogged plants on their last legs. It is hard to keep track of every single type of plant, but I hate to think that folks buy these plants only to have them die in a week or so because they were already half in the grave
