I’ve heard Syngonium respond to pon really well & I just started transitioning some of mine today . I’ve had incredible experiences with my Alocasia so figured I’d give it a go . I’m actually thinking about doing my calatheas next . I was just wondering if any of you use pon as a substrate for your Syngonium & how it went or how it’s going . I don’t use the lechuza pon pots i just use clear pots/vases so I can see the color of the pon change then add water accordingly I haven’t really found it necessary to spend the money on the lechuza pon pots & what I’ve been doing with my Alocasia is working .

Hey! I recently purchased a Pink Syngonium which I love and I originally put her in near my window on my desk, after a couple of days I noticed some yellowing leaves and thought she may be getting to much light so I moved her and a shader spot out of the indirect light after another couple of days i noticed more yellowing leaves and the soil seemed to be quite dry so i decided to water her but i still don’t see any improvements and i don’t want to keep losing the leaves even some new growth seems to be dying of as well I’m not sure where to put her or what’s the issue?

Any ideas what’s happening here? Is it just old? I traded for it and when I got it this leaf had started to yellow a bit but not this much, and it’s been a week since I looked at it last. Could it be root bound?

I don’t know why the leaves are suddenly drooping so much. I was thinking that it could be issues with the pale color and sunlight processing but I am not sure. Any thoughts?

I received these pink arrowhead cuttings from a friend a few months ago. It had a new leaf starting when they were cut & you can see it didn’t unfurl properly. BUT it’s finally putting out its first successful leaf in my care & looks great so far! (Semi-hydro)
