Is my milk confetti getting too much water maybe? Her leaves are darker green than they’re supposed to be and this baby leaf is semi transparent on one side. She’s putting out new growth so I’m not super concerned. Maybe she was mis labeled at the store? What do you guys think? I mist her a couple times a day which might affect it too
I don’t mist ever. Everything I have been reading says that misting does not effectively raise the humidity levels and exposes the leaves to damage. The clear leaf is edema, it is over watering. The leaves take up water from the soil and then will perspire that moisture from the leaves like dew or drips. If the humidity or moisture on the leaves is too high it can’t perspire that moisture. I would advise no misting- get a humidifier i. The same room near-ish the plant. The plant is a syngonium - I usually wait till the plant is 1/2-3/4 dry down the pot before watering again and water till it is draining out the bottom of the pot. Water sooner if it is looking droopy and thirsty.

Just popping in to second, I don’t mist either. It’s only even given me weird leaves and zero benefits.

There is confetti & milk confetti you may have a confetti . I was confused for a while I couldn’t figure out why the leaves weren’t white I didn’t know there were 2 kinds . I spent so much time moving it to different lighting until I figured it out . This is mine.
Thanks! The leaves have lightened up a lot but i still don’t know if it’s milk confetti or regular confetti
Same here I have both now but when I first got mine it was so green I thought I was doing something wrong I’ve seen all these pretty white ones posted on here . I did more research & did also find there are 2 confetti versions so I had the confetti not the milk confetti .
