I think my syngonium might have some type of rot! I read online that I should cut off the rot and repot? I would appreciate any advice!

    before chopping, i would check the actual roots if you haven't already. if they're black and slimy, you can cut the yucky parts off (or that top part) and downsize the pot accordingly. just be mindful that you do need a node or a few nodes to propagate.

      the stem is probably just hardening, but if you're worried it doesn't hurt to check.

    Doesn’t look like rot to me, typically they will start to brown at the base as it hardens into a stronger plant
