Hey! I just got my first pink confetti milk syngonium and have no clue how to keep it alive if anyone could throw some tips my way I’d love to keep it as healthy as possible so any advice is so appreciated thank y’all❤️

AishaNo idea about this one specifically, but syngonium in general are nearly invincible in my experience. Water when very nearly or all the way dry, and give them lots of bright light. I have a white butterfly and a golden green or something similar and both appreciate VERY bright light. I have the White butterfly in a west window and she gets several hours of direct sun during the summer. My golden green was actually in a pretty dim spot over the summer and while she didn’t thrive, she also didn’t stop growing. She WILL give much smaller, pointier leaves in direct sun though, just fyi, and she vines long and fast. I have a Maria Allusion as well and she has not objected to a little bit of direct summer sun either. My very young Milk Confetti hasn’t yet shown me what she likes so I have her behind a few other plants in the same west window as my White Butterfly in hopes that she won’t kick the bucket over the winter. She’s giving a new leaf though, so I have solid hope. Pot size doesn’t seem to make too much of a difference, they just keep growing. 😁 Basically I LOVE syngonium, have several cuttings of Rayii and Neon Robusta that I can’t wait to pot up! (Most likely not before Spring, so I have to keep my Patient Plant Pants on. 😆)

Oh my gosh thank you so much you are a life saver! I’m so worried I’m gonna kill her and all the things I saw said they are so hard to care for and it’s my first syngonium and it made me so paranoid now, so I appreciate that so so much hopefully she will be thriving in her new home soon thanks to you!

Aw thank you! You’re so sweet to! And girl no wayyy I’m blaming her death on ya if she dies I totally did something wrong, I’m definitely gonna take what you said and try it for her though I have literally no experience at all with them so you telling me everything is SUCH a blessing!

You got this! Took me a minute to figure out some plants, succulents especially just really don’t like me. They just kept dying so bad! But I now have two that I *think* are thriving! 😁 So plants are a lot of trial and error, but some of them are very forgiving, and that’s what I’ve found with Syngonium.

Well I’m glad cause I’m definitely not perfect at them yet! And I don’t think I’ve found anyone yet who can grow succulents incredibly well I know I sure can’t, as well as to have two doing well is so impressive! You totally seem like a plant pro it’s so cool!

KadesAlso a syngonium die hard! Milk confetti burn way easier than most syngonium but still need that bright light. I think some people have had issues with reverting because they try not to let them burn. They revert pretty easily so I’ve heard from Reddit. So lots of light but not direct to avoid burning

I have the og Regina red and milk confetti and even if it does revert the Regina’s are gorgeous

Ohhh ok thank you so much! that is so helpful I’m thinking about getting her a grow light to make sure she stays alive, that will be a new experience to for me to though 😅

Sorry if my comment spooked you but they’re really fun. My syngonium are by far my easiest plants, the milk are just a bit more picky about light. They grow so fast and every leaf is something new to look forward to!
