Anyone know why the new leaves on my Albo are coming in more yellow than bright white?

    Mine does the same thing! Nothing to worry about if that is what you’re curious about :) Not sure the science behind it

    They have a tint of chlorophyll on them hence the yellowish hue

      Interesting! I’ve seen a lot of folks clip off the more solid white leaves because of the lack of chlorophyll.

      Good thought! She seems to love the window she is in tho so not sure I want to move her. We will see how the winter goes though.

    Environmental conditions can influence the amount of variegation. For instance, in low light, a plant might produce more green tissue to compensate for its reduced ability to photosynthesize, a process known as reversion. I would recommend that you increase either the duration of light or the intensity to bring out the more white variegation.
