I can’t believe that some version of these wild, mouth-shaped flowers will soon be bursting from these buds on my plant! I complain about having to clean up after blooming plants…but man I sure do keep collecting & adoring them 🤪 I haven’t seen anyone posting about these since I’ve been here! Who’s got one?? Send pics & secrets! (Clearly these are pet hair magnets — I just hung mine, hopefully that helps 😅)

Question!! 🌼🌼 So, I just bought some hydrangeas that are lime colored. I would like to change the color of them possibly to purple I have heard you can do that. How does one go about doing that? And any extra tips for healthy hydrangeas?

My desert rose

Hello! I’m wondering if anyone has tips/tricks/suggestions for my rose bush. Half is thriving while the other half is a bit sad in comparison. I’m in Michigan, and this rose bush has been planted on the west side of our house for at least 7 years (we moved into the house then and it was already there). It gets some shade from the trees that are between it and the road (~15’ from the bush), but the rose bush gets about the same sunlight on both sides. It’s only been fertilized once in the last year or so, and I used the Bio Advanced Rose and Flower Care granules. I was a little late to the pruning game this year and only pruned it maybe 2-4 weeks ago. It gets watered a couple times a week depending on how dry and hot it is. The previous years of blooms looked a lot more like the “sad side” of the bush, and it’s never had blooms like the blooms on the pretty side. Thank you!

I planted some seeds at the end of April and their growth seems to have stunted. This is my first time planting cut flowers so any advice is appreciated! Here’s few photos from today. Note: I originally had sunflowers planted with these but removed them as suggested by a few other folks!
