HELP! Does anyone know why this is happening? I have been keeping an eye on this hydrangea like a hawk and idk what I’ve done wrong? I have fertilized the soil and I check the water daily. Maybe I’m not watering enough?

    If that’s one of those potted ones from a big box store this happens a lot. They aren’t really meant to be outside or planted in the ground.

      Yes they are. My are from Lowes hardware store and in ground for 10 years. Never have to touch them once established. Sorry to disagree.

    I think you need to deadhead the old flowers to allow energy to be spent on new flowers and plant growth. The flowers are not meant to be the one and only ones.
