   The advice below is about right. It’s a UK website. I grew up in Michigan, tulip capital of the US, where every school child was forced to visit tulip farms!😁 You plant different bulbs at different times of the year. We also kept bulbs in the refrigerator all winter in dark light blocking paper bags. These were planted in pots in early spring.
