Just got this Blue Hyacinth from Trader Joe’s. Anyone ever have any before? This is my first and just looking for tips! Thank you in advance

    Ooh that’s cute! I might have to pick one up too. I forget if the bigger hyacinths have a fragrance or maybe that’s just the grape hyacinth 🤔 I don’t have any experience to share with you but I hope it goes well!

      All hyacinths have a strong scent which I really enjoy. They will perfume the room where you put them!

    update: it bloomed beautifully !! I watched some videos to hopefully preserve and re-bloom

    I bought the same one and I love it! Any tips you’d like to share about sustaining it would be awesome :)

      They go into a sort of “hibernation” after they bloom…I watched a video on youtube called “aftercare for hyacinths grown in pots! what to do when flowering is over 🌿 BG” and it really helped ! also, I planted mine into a pot!

    Yeah, though I have problems with that. Ended up falling to its death 😢
