Just got some petunias and million bells. How often do they need to be watered in the summer? Should I just check when the top inch of soil is dry?

    That would depend on how hot it is where you are. Here (Georgia, and pretty hot) we water them in our garden center daily. They start to droop if we miss a day.

    That’s what your handy Planta app will tell you. I enter all my plants with the plant profile (tool icon) and wait for the notifications to pop up. Never guess again. 😄
