So we are moving and I don't want to leave my hibiscus plants behind.. I want to dig them up but Google is telling me that it's probably going to die from transplant shock or I have to lop the majority of the plant off and every single flower if the roots are going to have a chance of survive.. is this true☹️🤦😭🌺 I do plan on packing the roots with mycorrhizal fungi and Happy frog soil
The small one should be fine as long as you try to keep the roots in tact as much as possible. If you do the big one then you’ll definitely need to cut the majority down as it’s going to end up losing the majority of the roots. The transplant shock itself shouldn’t be awful if you keep the roots undamaged, maybe 2-6 weeks of moody hibiscus
좋아요 1개 I ordered a very specific type of mycorrhizal fungi for them as well so I'm going to pour like a third of a cup of that on the root ball as well and then probably hit the nurseries and buy a bunch more to make up for them but thank you so much 🫶
