Big Apple Plants
My Money Tree suffered from root rot so I took some cuttings. Iâm so happy to see them growing roots as it really devastated me. Also my African Violets grows so much foliage Iâve cut a couple of leaves to propagate. They are also rooting so Iâm GEEKED đ±đđđ

Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone has tips on how to propagate a âbubblegumâ transcendia. I watched a couple videos which say to place it in the soil (not water), but it doesnât seem to be working. Any tips would be appreciated!!

Hello! Iâm trying to save this spider plant. It used to be an office plant. The leaves were all messed up so I just got them off but Iâm not sure if itâs even salvageable. Please let me know thanks!

Iâm attempting to propagate a trandescantia with the rotten part cut off. I added root hormone and put in water. Am I correct in doing this? Thanks in advance!

Hey, anyone have any suggestions about propagating a ficus (rubber plant) in water? I successfully did it with a small stem, once, and gave it to a friend.
Now I tried to do it again and have been much less successful and I donât want to lose the rest of the stems Iâve already cut.
Thanks in advance!

Can I propagate a burros tail succulent like this?

Two weeks ago, these were freshly fallen petals! Iâve only lost about 10 petals, and I have 16 more that havenât rooted yet. I call this a success!!

Hello!
Iâve been trying to propagate this pothos for a couple months now. I tried changing the water and not changing the water. Iâve read mixed advice on that. Anyway! Iâm still not seeing any roots growing, either way. Itâs still growing leaves and doing its thing just no roots. đ Would perlite or soil (prop box with a lid) be better than water? I donât want to give up on it!

Hi everyone, I am propagating this monstera albo cutting. I started it in water, and the bottom below the node started rotting. I cut off the rot (sterile shears and everything), dipped it in rooting hormone, then put it in moist perlite. After a couple weeks, it looked extremely droopy, so I moved it back to water.
Now roots are coming out, but I think the rot at the bottom is coming back. If the bottom node rots, is this a goner? Should I cut the bottom even though itâs so close to the node? Are the roots coming out of nodes? Thank you! Iâve only propped pothos before which were super easy đ

Iâve been wanting to propagate my ivy which is so long itâs almost to the floor. What is the best way to propagate it? Iâve read different ways.

My pothos is a baby maker haha. I have to cut it down every tome
it gets close to the floor cuz I have a dog and they are toxic plants. I then put the cuttings in glass with water on my wall and it looks so pretty,
once they have roots I donate to my friends etc :)

Hello!
Short version is: do you use rooting hormone to propagate pothos in soil?
My golden pothos is root-bound in this glass container, growing in water only. She lost some leaves recently, so I want to cut the stems and grow new roots in soil (Iâm not a fan of growing in water. The plants never seem to get full).
Iâm scared to cut and stick in soil and have it fail because this is from a family heirloom plant.
I donât own any rooting hormone currently, and Iâve never tried a DIY rooting hormone.
Should IâŠ
A. Order rooting hormone powder, & wait to do this until the rooting hormone arrives
B. Use a DIY rooting hormone (aloe, honey, cinnamonâŠ)
C. Put the cuttings directly in soil
Thank you very much for your help!
