I have recently been trying to propagate Rose cuttings after one of my customers claims she has a high success rate with rose propagation, I have had success with propagating various plants in the past (got lucky) and was wondering if anyone has tips for propagating rose cuttings? My technique take a cutting off a plant (at least 6") remove bottom leaves and cut top leaves in half, stand cutting in water for half hour, take cutting out dip in rooting powder then put in compost, leave cutting outside (in its natural environment) then wait and hope

Hello there, I’ve had this great Hibiscus which I’d love to propagate (yes it has many healthy stems to pick from) I’ve watched a plethora of those “DIY” videos (bless their hearts) oddly conflicting.. This is my first attempt, would anyone help share the actual correct way to propagate? Thanks so much. Best, S

Help! My money tree was dying. I got to save this piece but I do not have experience cutting plants to put in water and propagate. This is the set up I have it on and it is not doing well. What should I do??? Should I cut the droopy leaves? They are changing color and becoming thinner. Should I put it by the window? It might not be getting enough light.. should I let it callus before dropping in the brown balls… what do you call them? 😞

I propagated this heart-leaf philodendron about a month ago and it’s giving me only one supperrr long root, literally just one? I’ve never seen that before so I’m wondering if it’ll still be okay to transfer to soil or continue to keep in water and wait?

just chopped & propped my fiddle leaf fig! 🫣 i cut off her top and put it in water for the first time, because i have a hard time throwing alive foliage out lol. her other half (a stem and a single leaf) are still in the soil. every other year or so she gets this crazy haircut and comes back stronger than ever, but it's really hard to trust the process. i'm excited to see if the leafy half will root in water! wish me luck!

Hello, I have this golden pothos cutting that I have been keeping in water for quite awhile because it seems to do just fine that way. It has grown a ton of roots, but as of recently began yellowing at the base of the stem. Any ideas on what to do?

I had to propagate my donkey’s tail in an attempt to save it. Theres already little roots. What do I do next? Plant them when the roots are longer? Any advice appreciated ty!

So I found out that apparently you can propagate this type of hibiscus by cutting. While I can't save the mother plant by bringing it inside before winter hits due to space, I want to try to get some cuttings so it can live on. Where should I make these cuttings (see photo)
