My Nursery
I need help! My peace lily is separating! Can I separate and repot? Or what can I do? It was so healthy and then⊠this!
My variegated jade props. Clipped yesterday. Dipped in rooting hormone and put in dry soil. It'll be under a grow light 16 hours daily. I then placed it in a ziploc, added water to the baggy and sealed. I'm looking for advice when to water and would the baggy and water "experiment" work?
just chopped my little xanadu philo đŹ wish him luck!
Iâm coming here for legit help. I had a lot of grief/depression for several months and my plants are beyond saving. They arenât dead but they wonât come back. Is it okay to prop in winter? I know it is not ideal but is it possible.
my lil prop station đ±
Hello everyone, another update on my Alocasia Jacklyn corms I propagated back in mid September. Each corm has 1 leaf and some healthy roots. When would you recommend switching these over to a self watering pot with pon? I'm terrified of upsetting them đ thank you in advance!
Reusing my aero garden as a propagation holder
I have the Aloe, he lost his leaves from black at the bottom of each. I think he had mites but can I save him?? Propagation or something?
I found some corms in what I think was my elephant ear alocasia, and the first one sprouted! So proud of myself and how beautiful this little leaf looks.
Hello! Iâm propagating plants for the first time and wanted to know if Iâm doing it right. Am I?
I found the leaves I thought I might try to propagate it I've been searching around it looks like it might be from a pineapple but I'm not sure what do you think
How do I get my leaves to grow bigger.
My Pilea has been suffering and Iâm trying to talk myself into chopping and propping. When doing so, should I cut the top part (with leaves) off, cut a section of the stem off, and then leave the bottom part of the stem in the soil? Also, is it better to let Pilea callus over before placing in water or do they prefer to go straight in? (The brown/black leaves have been removed. I would probably cut where the straps are placed)
Does anyone have advice on moving plants to leca from soil? I want to move my alocasia into leca , is that a good idea?
Someone gave me cuttings like this. Can I just prop them in water or do I have to make that V cut on the bottom?
Hi! Iâve been propagating this plant (Forgot the name) and was wondering if it looked ready to repot. Looks ready to me but I wanted a bit of confirmation. Thanks in advance!
Brought home this stunning begonia clipping yesterday and Iâm obsessed. Lots of good baby roots but Iâm guessing three weeks or so before it can be potted. Any input as far as growing medium/container? The grower recommended Leca.
are these babies?? Iâm new to propagating and stuff so idk if should plant them in another pot and then snip the yellow stem thing once they take root or what. its a spider plant
So I was gonna post asking about this, but then got a reply back from a TC friend. Figured I'd post for anyone who is acclimating. But I noticed a few of the TC had curled leaves. And the response back was it's often caused by nutrient deficiency. When they bag up into shipping bags, apparently it's often just agar/Gellan and maybe charcoal. No Murashige and Skoog. So if they're sitting long, then shipped, then acclimated... they're starving. So gave them all some fertilizer early, and hopefully it'll resolve.
