Wanted to share an update on my jade propagations from my 30 year old jade plant. These have been propagated in wet perlite for about 2 weeks. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a faster option to propagation than water or soil propagation. My current debate is if I should add these props to the already rooted pot with my previous set of props, or let it form its own jade plant 🤔

I’m new to propagating and I’m currently attempting to propagate this pothos. So far it’s been a week and I’ve just noticed she’s a little brown, any advise ? All I’ve done so far is just kept her in water that I just changed out today. She gets plenty of sun as well.
Someone asked can you germinate a coconut in London, then, deleted the post before I could upload an answer. The answer is yes, you can germinate it indoors anywhere given sufficient humidity and warm temperatures. Place the coconut in a sealed container with a little water to increase the humidity. Ensure the three coconut “eyes” are not under water. (You don’t need to float the coconut. You only need water to increase the moisture in the container). You are creating a terrarium environment. So, warm temperatures are needed to simulate the tropics. Use a plant germinating heating pad or place it in a warm southern window (or grow light) or near a heater. Change the water each week. It takes 2 - 3 weeks to see new growth from one of the eyes. The new growth will have both the leaf/stem and the roots from the same eye. It takes about 3 months to 4 months to see the leaves turn green and the roots become long enough to plant, about 5 inches of roots. Fertilize with diluted fertilizer during water changes after the roots appear. Place it on its side to point the roots to the soil and the leaves upwards. Plant in well draining soil. Regularly fertilize. Note: The coconut must be free of mold or mildew as show in the photo especially around the eyes. This indicates the inside is rotten. The coconut must have water inside or it’s already too dry. 🍀🪴
Just wanted to show someone my little respawn area (spooky season is upon us). I’ve been working on these little guys for over a month now and moved them over today to some pots. Never had plants before. Never propagated anything before so I’m hopeful they’ll survive me lol looks ok I think so far.
I have 3 dracaena props from an old plant that got root rot. They were all on one stalk. Should I plant the props all in the same pot to make them look fuller or will that be bad for the plant?
This is the first time propagating my Dragon Tail (Rhaphidophora Decursiva). The vines are hard like bamboo. So, it is difficult to train it on a pole after allowing it to sprawl. It’s easy to propagate. It’s not fussy. I just added fertilizer and SuperThrive after the roots emerged. The cuttings quickly put out roots followed by new leaves.
let’s all keep our fingers crossed I can do this successfully this time. momma plant is a cutting from my great great aunts plant
Does anyone think that is a node on my Hoya Kerri?
I love keeping plants in water, since I get to see the roots grow ;)

This pothos been in here for 3 weeks! I don’t see any roots and she’s starting to rot a bit at the bottom what am I doing wrong??? 😭😭
Hi! I have a question about propagation and I hope it’s okay to ask. When I cut from the mother plant like an established pothos, do I let the vine close at the tip? Will it heal itself and keep growing again? Like I cut back some leggy growth on this to propagate and im wondering if I should keep trimming it back to keep the tip open and green or leave it closed and brown?
Recently got an over grown dog tail cactus. Anyone have success with propagating pups from one? If so, what method do you suggest? Thanks in advance everyone!
