Do Hoyas like to prop in water or soil? Thinking about planting now that there are secondary roots.
I didn’t know these grew flowers. I also didn’t know these would grow a whole new vine. I’m just wondering how do I cut it and when should I cut it? I figure I should use it to start a new spider plant, but I don’t know exactly what I’m doing.
Hey, I’ve never done propagation from a cutting before… is this right or too much water? Thanks
I’m trying to propagate my snake plant. I had it put in water for a while. Is this amount of root enough to put it in soil? I feel like the left one might be enough but maybe not the one the right. Any tips would be useful! Its my first time propagating this plant! Thanks!
is this a root? of it is, should i just put it in some water?
Help! I'm not sure what to do with my monstera adansonii, as it has no leaves in the middle but is pushing more growth at the ends. Should I cut it back and propagate??
I'm new to succulents. This guy was doing great and gave 2 pups without me doing anything. But, within the couple of weeks it dropped majority of its seeds. Several questions, first, have I placed the seeds ok for them to grow? The 2 already growing, are they big enough to repot? Now, the main guy, I need to chop and replant, anything special I need to do? I don't want to lose it.
when is the best time to move a snake plant propagation to soil? also… are these roots healthy or is that rot :(
Finally got out of water. 🧩💧
Corn plant cutting is rooting!!
I am trying to propagate 2 different types of Wandering Jew. This is what the new roots look like. When should I plant them. Or should I leave till spring?
When should I pot these? Wait for the leaves to grow/open? Wait for secondary roots? It’s a scindapsus exotica!
Is this (golden?) pothos cutting ready to put into soil?
Hi guys! Jw if anybody eles has a common rue plant. I have a couple questions if I should cut some of the stems and propagate them. Also how should I do to make look more bushy and not tall and leggy. Thank you guys!
Hey everyone need help. I got this long clipping of a monstera and I cut up to propagate. This is how they look so far. Are these the roots or aerial roots? Can I start planting in soil? So I plant the entire stem and root in soil? I want them all in one pot maybe 2. I just want them to survive.
Current office prop station. Just added a few cuttings from a wrinkle leaf peperomia & a heart leaf philo :) also my corn plant cutting is sprouting a bud
In case anyone is feeling discouraged: this is the glow up of Phoenix. I was given a cutting with full leaves, they all fell off except one that got crispy & sun damaged. I gave up & thought he was unalive, put him under my desk to have a funeral later, didn’t look again until maybe 2 weeks. He had grown a set of roots in just a couple inches of water 💪🏽! I put him back in the window & he’s bouncing back hard. Finally put him in soil a few weeks ago. So happy i forgot to have that funeral, he just needed more time 🤗
Having a conversation with a coworker, the whole time glancing over at this vine & thinking about whether or not I’m gonna chop & prop it…
After about two years trying to propagate a zz plant from a cutting, it is finally putting out a new stem!!
I am attempting to propagate a lemon lime “prayer” plant. I followed tips and let the roots grow about an inch before planting, but now I feel like it was too early. Anyone have experience with doing what I’m attempting? Thanks!!
