These two guys have gotten tall and are mostly stem. Leaves on top look healthy. There at least 6 yrs old. Can I cut the stem and will it produce roots? Where do I cut it and what do I do with it? I want them to be less stem. Any help would be appreciated.
I propagated these Ficus cuttings at the same time. They’ve been in the same condition; getting the same water and being in the same light. Why is one rooting and the other isnt???? The cutting without roots is doing fine, but wont grow. Theres tiiiiny little roots that have been at the same stage of growth for weeks while the other cutting is putting out. Should i just toss the one that isnt sprouting roots?
I’m wondering if some of this stratum looks too wet. I did run it through a strainer after rinsing.
Hi i don’t propagate my plants often but i was thinking of cutting one of my philodendrons but i’m unsure of where and if it’ll grow back, if anyone has any advice i will be very grateful ^^

This is my first time trying to propagate. I got this pink nerve plant a month ago and 2 weeks ago it looked like i had a root start to grow! Well now we look like this and I changed the water today and it was hot before the change, did the hot water kill my plant?
Basic af but I'm still proud :) 🦚 First propagated plant ever grown = green onions in about 2.5 weeks. Next will hopefully be the celery.

Ok friends I just potted up 2 pieces of my monkey tail that I cut over a week ago. I put it in a terracotta pot with cactus soil that is dry. When should I water or mist the soil and then how often after that? It’s in front of a grow light! All advice appreciated! Thank you!

Hey there! Has anyone successfully grown a mother of million from seed before? I’ve tried a bunch of times over the last couple of years but they either won’t sprout or they shoot up and then die a week or two later… any tips are appreciated:)
I repotted my Alocasia and found 10 corms!!! I put them in damp sphaghum moss, here’s my set up: Any other tips for successful propagation? Anything I should change?
Found this little guy, with some little roots, hanging out next to my Mom’s Jade…we’ll see if he likes me (don’t know his name just yet) any suggestions?
