Jade leaf journey! Lost one it seems…round 2 next door! Think that back leaf has something going, but not above soil yet. Any tips to help these along? The are in a clear zip lock most of the time. Misted daily at least…

Is there a feature, when adding a plant cutting to Planta, that incorporates the fact that it has been placed in a propagator? I can't see one, which seems like a bizarre oversight if so.

hello fellow propagators, so I make my moss poles from chicken wire, and zip ties making it hard to add onto it when my plants begin to grow… I have a philodendron that I would like to possibly propagate and need some advice on how to do it. Would it have a successful propagation if I cut from #1 or #2? Or should I not cut at all? I’m open to all suggestions 🙂

Just snipped a bit of Marvin, my Moon Valley Pilea! I got a successful Hoya cutting this way…wish us luck! I think his name will be Neil!🤗😉🪴

I recently got this monstera from a friend to propagate it. The stem is tall and bare and the leaves are concentrated at the top. I’m thinking of cutting the stem up around the nodes to propagate it. There are some nodes that have aerial roots coming off (as seen in picture). My question is can I put that bit of stem with root coming off in soil? Or should I leave the aerial roots out of the soil?

I’m not sure if recs differ based on the type of plant, but rn I have water propagations for string of fishhooks, string of hearts, string of dolphins, satin pothos, & philodendron brasil! here’s a pic of a few☺️ thank you in advance!!

Hi all, my in law has asked me to propagate his peperomia, has anyone done this before and have any advice? Much appreciated 🙏🏼

My sister cut me a piece of her golden pothos to propagate. She had it since 1994. It was my mother’s and it must have been over 10 ft tall or more. So I’m propagating mine. So far so good. She is so good with plants and I’m just ok. But I’m proud of this one.

Started my FIRST propagations today!! Started easy with philodendron mican, golden pothos, marble pothos and neon pothos cuttings. Now we wait 🤩

So happy about my prop! The stem/leaf in the back that the arrow is pointed to is a freshly opened leaf from a brand new shoot. And the little red circle is highlighting a second new shoot coming from the soil that i just noticed today. It's so exciting for a rooted cutting to start branching out like this! I only put him in soil a few weeks ago 🥹
