Is this Rex begonia ready to pot yet? It’s been in water for a few months now and got some pretty long roots but not sure if it’s enough yet. They’re about 5cm long (sorry the photos aren’t showing it that well) and has a few leaves growing now too.

This is my first time successfully propagating a red nerve plant!! Usually these shrivel up in a day or two. I was finally able to do it with a takeout container, sphagnum moss, rooting hormone powder, And daily misting x2 a day. It’s been about a month and these are my precious little roots I worked so hard for!! :3 I’m so happy! I’m hoping to place her in a terrarium once I get bigger roots.

This is the piece I cut off of my rubber plant on January 20th and put it in water to trim the propagate it. It’s been in there the whole time, I change the water about once a week, and last week I added root drops. Anyone know how long it takes for this thing to start growing roots??? The other part of the plant that is still in soil had already has new growth but this one seems to not be doing much of anything. It’s still firm. But also it’s getting these little bumps on the side?!?

I recently made a cross-country move in the middle of the southern ice storm and most of my plants were severely damaged in the process. I’m trying to rehab and save what I can. My money tree lost all of its leaves in the move and now looks like this. I am seeing new buds at the trunk, should I trim off some of the growth above the buds? If so, where should I snip? I don’t see any new buds at the top

Hey, my monstera wasn’t doing so well, so I decided to propagate some cuttings in water. It’s been exactly a month and no roots have grown. I am not confident in them rooting. Should I wait longer? This is my first time doing it, and the plant was young (may not have gotten any nodes) and it is also winter, for any extra info on this. I’m just curious.

My propagation station!! They are all rooting so good and way faster than I expected!! I get the bottles at the dollar store, they have a ton of cool ones and you can’t beat $1.25!!

I have this water propagation that is incredibly happy, but cleaning the water and removing the plant from the jar without hurting it has gotten difficult because of how may roots there are. This has led to some mold growing on the surface of the water, is this a sign to plant it in dirt?

I have decided to propagate my pilea .. I want a more fuller plant. This is my first time doing this with a pilea so I’m trying the stem and separately the branch. Any pointers? I did also put alil bit of hormone growth to the tip of the cutting

Any tips on how to transferring propagations propagations into their first pots? Anything I should know?

At this stage of growing these cacti from seeds, how much bigger should I let them get before separating the ones that are super close together into a more spacious area? I don’t want to move them when they are “too” fragile. Also, any other recommendations at this point?

The acrylic containers I like are pricey. Found these plastic eggs cheap and they’re great! At least I think they are. We’ll know for sure when we see roots.
