🌵🐰 Propagating these bunny cactus pads without sacrificing my fingers to the spike gods 😂🌵 Any tips for the best way to handle and propagate them without getting covered in tiny spikes? And I need your advice… once they’ve callused over, would you plant them straight into soil, or is it better to start them in water first? 🌱💧 What’s worked best for you? can i get some advice please 🙏 it's my first real venture into propagating (i've successfully propped a pilea so far) and i'm trying to prop my rubber plant and my string of hearts for my rubber plant, ive seen no progress whatsoever in over 2 weeks and there are these white spots (are they roots? it is an infection? i have 0 idea) for my string of hearts, do they develop secondary roots or is this how they grow? i've been propping this one for about a month now and this is the progress any advice would be very much appreciated as i'm new to this and not sure if it doing it all right 😅 both are under grow lights and in an ikea cabinet

Hi plant friends! Did I do this prop correctly in LECA? I know I’ve been told this plant can take a long time to prop, but I feel like months is too long. And the bottom nodes sometimes rot in water prop so I thought I’d switch it up for a chance to save this. I was thinking the nodes sit within the LECA, but the water is under the nodes to not saturate the nodes but more for humidity to promote rooting..? TIA for any help out guidance 🤗

got my first few babies and even a flower! it’s been afew weeks since they popped out. how long do they take till they’re ready for propagation?

This marble pothos has been a twig in water for 2 months now with no change. I was literally walking over to throw him away when I saw this green!! I can’t believe it! Also, is anyone else using thrifted shot glasses for water propagation? 😅

This mama plant has been busy! 🌱💕 She’s produced so many babies, and I’ve already repotted 11 of them! I’m wondering what everyone recommends — should I leave some of the babies attached to mama, or is it better to separate and repot them once they’re established? Any tips are welcome! 🪴

Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree I first purchased my Fiddle Fig plant at Lowe’s on clearance for $3. As you see my Fiddle Fig leaf tree has thrived and now has gotten very tall. I do believe it’s time for me to propagate, but I’m scared. I know it will be so good for her, but I’m just afraid to do what needs to be done 🫣 Can anyone off me some advice on getting out of my own way and just give my girl the hair cut she needs.

I’ve propagated a handful of plants but I’ve never seen leaves growing under water. Is this normal? I’m wondering how I’ll pot it if the roots are higher than the leaves.

So about a week and a half ago I propagated my monstera plant. I now have two plants with established roots. I’m not sure what to do next to make sure I have a large plant with fenestrations leaves, any recommendations?

My boot Lily finally have rooted. It is repotted in soil. Hope Bootsy will make me as happy as the others!🥰

Took a walk in our local park nature perserve area today and was really studying all the plants as I walked by today for the first time ever really. I kept wondering if there were any that I could cut and take home to propagate. Does anyone know? Has anyone ever done that? I live in the South Jersey area. Hopefully it’s legal 🙏🏼💚 Poison ivy also grows wildly in this area so I’d need to make sure I avoid any ivy’s it’s hard to tell which might be poisonous. Photo below of my little spider plant props at home. I tried an experiment this week where I put some spaghum moss in their water. So it almost looks like they are potted in glass containers. They trying their hardest to make roots 🙏🏼💚

Anyone know why this propagation isn’t growing like the others? It only has roots but they aren’t growing into the dirt very much. Should I take him out from under the grow light? 1st and second pic shows what it looks like now! Last pic are my other props. I got them all in May!
