Growing some avacados! Got a lemon tree growing too, the tiny green sprout in the huge pot :)

Anyone else ever try to grow a pineapple plant from the top of an actual pineapple? I ready that if you pop the top leafy part off and remove some of the leaves to expose the stalk, you can put that in water and it will sprout roots and you can plant it on soil and grow your own pineapple plant. I figured why not try it. Sounds fun and rewarding if it works. I actually have one with two separate top shoots that appear they could each sprout a pineapple. Of course, if it does work, I do realize that I am a long way off from possibly actually growing the pineapple, but still will be fun. I’ll keep you all posted on the progress.

Whats everyones favorite/most successful medium for propagating Hoya’s from stem cuttings? (Krimson Queen specifically) I’ve only ever used water for all my plants and have zero issues with any type I’ve done. Right now I have a Hoya Chelsea that I started a month ago and its started to show the TINIEST roots. Now I know 4 weeks is an average time, I’ve just never had any of my plants take that long to show any signs of life…and I’m impatient LOL Also, grow light? Or window?

Hi friends! My caladium Angel Wings are looking a bit droopy. We had a biiiig rain here and I’m worried she’s overwatered 😖 Do you stake these? Any advice? Also- do these propagate well?

At what point does everyone add plants on here that they grew from seeds? I haven’t been adding them while they’re still germinating and sprouting since those require different care but just curious what everyone else does!

Hope everyone considers propagating! I now have two lovely propagated plants. One is a monstera, and now i am currently propagating an ivy. Im excited to pot it! Srry i have no picture, im on vacation currently! 💚

my philodendrons are propagating well ! some are going to be repotted in the next couple days, others im going to let sit for a bit longer !

I’m thinking of using plant food for my sprouting plants. (And all my others.) It’s called “Aero Garden Liquid Plant Food” it’s by the company “MiracleGro” I don’t know if to use it or not. Has anyone used this or not? I need tips to how to use this properly!! Thank you!

Been propagating this mican since November and I’m just so proud of the newest leaf

This is my 2nd go at this…dipped in rooting powder and change water every few days…what am I doing wrong? Totally new so don’t hold back. I just wanna get it right lol

Thought I’d share my little propagation station that I created using jenga type blocks and glass tubes I got from Dollar Tree. Seems to be working real well.

I’ve just trimmed two smaller stems from my monstera deliciosa to propagate. They each already have a small aerial root and an underground root. I’m going to buy some good potting mix or maybe leca for when they are ready to plant. I’m excited!

Some of my leaves fell off my variegated croton so I’m trying to propagate but never propagated before except for my mini monstera which I bought that way. Am I doing this correctly?

When should I plant this baby? I bought it at Home Depot in the exact same propagation glass it’s in now, and it was thriving for weeks but now the new sprouts are turning brown and some of the leaves are turning yellow. I don’t know if it’s time to repot or what to do. I change the water around every week/week and a half I love this plant, and I don’t want to kill it and already seems like it’s suffering so bad. 😔
