Hey guys!! So I bought this triostar about a month ago and I LOVE HER 😍 I repotted her straight away and the roots are tight lemme tell you that! I tried to detangle them as much as possible but I know calathea roots can be very sensitive so was wary not to break too much, after a few weeks it’s doing well and seems to be producing new leaves. I would love to propagate this beauty but would appreciate any tips at all! I know I just need to find the separate plants and gently pull them apart but the root ball is so dense in the middle I’m worried to kill it!
Any tips and tricks welcome, thank you 💖

This little fella just sprouted a couple of days ago. Should I put him in some soil? Or should I let him grow more. His friends around him are not looking good. He is a mammoth sunflower seed. Please let me know!

How should I bring my alocasia back from dormancy?
I’ve had my Alocasia Bambino for over a year. In August/September last year it lost almost all its leaves. Then as the last one was completely yellowed 2 new leaves sprouted. They lasted until mid December, and fell off when I came back from winter break in mid January. Since January I’ve kept it in the dirt & very little watering. I’ve read they come back in the spring but mine hasn’t. It’s firm and doesn’t feel rotted.
I was thinking of putting it in a jar with dirt (added perlite?) to increase the humidity and warmth to wake it up?
I’m not experienced with alocasias so anything helps! I don’t even know if this type goes into dormancy lol. I kept it in the planter like in my picture until today.

Fail of the day… I bought this cute propagation station awhile back at Walmart and successfully propagated a very well off tomato plant. However, this lil guy was hiding in the tube and I never saw him and now he won’t come out. 👎🏻
