Hey, I just propagated this Hope Peperomia but I just propagated the leaf. do you will it grow??
This Jade propagation is so stressful. I started with 5 and Iâm down to 2 both rooted the one is doing well. But Iâm also helicopter parenting itâŠ
my graptovia dropped a leaf and i decided to propagate it! i checked up on it as i was cleaning out my prop station and wow! canât wait to see more progress
All of my corms have grown leaves but still waiting for the roots to get longer.
Wow! Two months ago I posted asking for help on my Alocasia Bambino that apparently went dormant. I knew nothing about them besides some varieties can go dormant in winter. This is her today! After sitting lifeless and bald in a pot for 6 months, I decided to try reviving it. For two months I had it in a plastic bag with mist, then added sphagnum moss, then a week ago when the roots were long and a leaf sprout was 1/2â, I moved to a glass jar covered with a plastic ziploc. It instantly put out a beautiful baby leaf! Leafless photos is from end of June. Yellow leaf is from a year ago before it put out itâs last 2 leaves that lasted ~2mos.
Propagating my satin pothos. Ran out of vessels so I used this beer bottle and leaves are growing underwater now âšđ
i was gifted a cutting of this plant today, but the person who gave it to me isnât sure what kind of plant it is. can someone help?
My Rex begonia seems to be getting big. I am repotting and want to propagate a second plant from one of the big rhizomes. Where should I cut and how big a piece should I cut?
Where would secondary leaves grow from my cutting that consists of a small main stem (with nodes/roots) and a petiole stalk? đ±
Iâm propagating my partnerâs Grandmaâs plant. Sheâs since passed away and itâs in the care of his mom but itâs been alive since the 1960s! So with that being said, I donât want to mess it up lol! Itâs an Arrowhead plant and I have 6 cuttings from it that I am propagating in water. They are already starting to grow roots. How much roots do I need? And when I plant them, should I plant them all in one larger pot since they are such long cuttings?
Whatâs the best way to propagate my Hawaiian pothos?
My back bathroom is now my propagation station.
Hi all! I have an incredible pepperomia that I have split a few times and all parts are doing well. However, I had a loose leaf that I tried to propagate. I placed it in water until roots grew and then moved to the soil. A light tug tells me its definitly rooted in the soil, but the look of the leaf has not changed at all. Is that expected, or should this be growing more? Is there anything I can do to help it grow? Thank you!
Nostalgia incoming! I remember when I tried to propagate chia seeds in a jar. They grew. And grew. I kept the lid on the jar when I wasn't watering it so it didn't need as much water. It almost popped out the top. Eventually they folded over before I could eat them and started molding. We had to throw away the whole Masen jar. Good olâ daysâŠ
First time growing anything by seed. They're "Night Sky" Petunias. Do I mist? When do I repot? Do I try to separate them? I was expecting maybe one or two to sprout.. This is exciting â ( á ăâ )ïŒż
Hi! Any advice on when I can replant this monstera plant? Never propagated before! Any and all advice is welcome :) this is currently how the new root looks
Iâm looking for input. I placed these stalks in water just to enjoy them longer but the one on the right has formed some roots. Should I plant this little guy in soil? I initially bought that little propagation station to use for my succulents but then decided to use soil instead. Itâs cute tho!
Hello guys! I have a propagation that has really long roots that itâs been growing in the water, itâs a golden pothos and itâs doing really well in water. I donât have to put it in soil if I donât want to right? Like it can still live in the water? ( and sorry itâs just Iâm new to propagating and stuff so..đ„Č)
I am trying to propagate succulents this way. Is there any tip or things I need to know? I have never been successful in the past.
hi yâall! just repotted my alocasia pink dragon and found a few corms! Iâd love to make some babies for my fellow plant loving friends, can anyone tell me where to start?
