About sixteen months, from rooted leaf cutting to baby zz plant!
Hey! I have some propagations with several plants and I wanted to grow some of my pothos (maybe my little fiddle fig too) completely in water. Anyone have any fertilizer recommendations for this? Thanks!
Any tips on propagating this crimson Hoya? I had it for a week and so far no progress but it looks like it’s been drinking water as it hasn’t died yet.
propagated from my large snake plant, but i feel like i'm not doing it correctly. i cut near the lower half with cleaned scissors, tried two shapes i saw online. anyone got any tips? cus i feel like they aren't doing too well.
How would I go about propagating this?
Anyone have tips on how to propagate string of pearls?
This is my very first propagation to my pilea plant!! If anyone has any tips please let me know.
Ok, I was meddling with my girlfriends plants and cut this little guy thinking it would help him grow, but now I’m worried, was he too small to cut? Will he grow back? Or did I just stunt his growth forever? I also put the part I cut in water to propagate it but I haven’t seen much of a change and Im worried it’s not going to work. Anyway, any and all advice would be great!
Anyone know what these little green things are and if I could propagate them? I found them in the pot of my dead basil plant so if I could save a part of it that would be very cool. Thanks :)
String help! I have killed this string twice and finally threw it in a bag in a window and it looks great. Any ideas on how to put this in soil. I was thinking about trying to rip as much paper towel off and just let the rest decompose in soil. I don’t want to kill this for a third time taking any recommendations!
i have also been trying to propagate my tradescantia. it has grown roots but it’s browning… it is in the same spot as my succulent on my porch so i am thinking it’s getting too much sun and not enough water… how often should i water it ?
hi! i have been trying to propagate this succulent from its leaves. it has grown roots and seems to be doing pretty well! right now i have it outside on my porch that gets direct sun for like 2 hours. i am not sure how much i should be watering it…. does anyone have any tips?
I’ve had this propagating in water for almost a month now and noticed it looks like it’s sprouting a new leaf? Do I leave it in water? Will the leaf drown if I just let it continue to propagate? This is my first time attempting to propagate anything so I’m not sure what to do. TIA!
Also posted in the succulent group so sorry if you’re seeing a repeated post! Any tips for growing succulents from leaves?
Looking for some advise on propagating my Aglaonema Chocolate plant. As you can see, I had to pull this from the pot as it was wilting and struggling pretty bad. I noticed the root system was totally shot. I cut everything back and now I’m curious to see what I can do with this. Thanks!
Hey everyone! New here and trying to figure out if I should repot my silver inch plant and two crispy waves?
Is my silver neon pothos telling me to propagate it? I’ve never see it start to grow roots like this out of water when still connected to mother plant, but these definitely look like more than just nodes to me. Thoughts??
Hello everyone. Newbie here 🙋🏻♀️ I have two Purple Flamingo Anthurium plants and would like to propagate them. Could anyone provide some tips please?
i bought a new maidenhair since my last one didn’t make it </3 i’m planning on cutting the fronds off the dying plant and propagating both of them together in a larger plastic pot i’m assuming after some time their roots will intertwine and maybe help stimulate some new, healthy growth with the sick maidenhair. any advice is welcome! if this is a bad idea lmk lolol <3
I have a snake plant that I want to propagate, but idrk how. Can someone who's does this before tell me how pls? Greatly appreciated! Some of the leaves also look droopy, any tips are great too! Edit: so literally right after I posted this, I was just taking a look at the plant and I just slightly pulled a droopy leaf and that leaf and a few other newer ones came right out! I saw it only had a few roots and I think the pot is TOO big for the plant I am going to set this part of the plant in water. It may also be a root rot? Again, any tips, PLEASE 🙏 (the photo of the roots is part of the edit)
