Some of the leaves that fell off my jellybean cactus during shipping have produced offsprings after 2.5 weeks! I feel like a proud grandmother!đđŒ One leaf was pulled to an upright position by its roots and there was a twin underneath! So cool. Plants are smart!đ€Ł
Plastic bottles make such handy drainage pots on the fly so I like to keep them around just incase also cue tip and hair cream tubs are handy for different shapes pots or when your prop gets a little bigger.
Thereâs little white bits coming from this node that lost its leaves does anyone know if itâll grow new leaves or strings? Or if it would be worth pressing into the soil so that it roots?

Iâve been trying to propagate some aloe Vera for a while now and I followed steps cutting the leaf leaving it to callus for a week before potting in soil but itâs been in soil for some time now and thereâs no signs of anything happening. Has anyone propagated aloe from single leaf cutting before ? Does anyone have any tips?
Iâve been propagating several plants in water, and for the most part theyâve been doing fine, but recently several have started rotting at the root tips. Why is this happening? I change out water fairly often.
Update on poddy! Ok so wasnât sure what was going to happen with this one but it has roots! Leaves are healthy however Iâm not sure what will happen past that as itâs showing no signs of leaf growth.
I collected all the Asian poison bulb babies and put them in an empty container just so dog wouldnât eat them and they finally sprouted! I gave up hope. I am guessing I just plant them now?
This is my first time growing Stefania Erecta. It looks and feels like a flattened round potato. Instructions state to soak the bottom in warm water for 24 hours to get the roots going. I fear soaking the wrong end. The bottom is supposed to be flat with a round circular node. There is no clearly flat end like the ones pictured online. I found a round white circle. Is that the bottom or is the small circular bump at the opposite end the bottom? Iâm sending the seller an email to get help. Thought I would ask here.
these propagations have now detached from its leaf. its my first time having props gone this far đ so now do i put them all in a pot and water often, or can i just stick them back into the soil without watering and theyâll eventually grow roots ?? please help i have no idea what iâm doingđ
Well, itâs been 24 days since I nervously topped my Dracaena and low and behold! It has two new branches starting! I almost cant believe it. I added some fertilizer today and Iâm excited to see what will come of all this. Feeling like a mad scientist! :)
Hello! Iâve had this monstera planted in water for just over a year now and noticed itâs trying to sprout a new leaf! Now Iâm tempted to put it in soil but Iâm not sure if I should because itâs been in water for so long. Any suggestions?

I have this Chinese Money Plant propagation, but I canât tell if these are little roots that are growing or something else.. I have this propagation sitting in water, not soil. I change the water at least once a week & I have it about a foot away from the window so itâs getting sunlight but not direct sunlight because Iâm scared itâll scorch. Any ideas?
